(For links to these, see Navigation Bar at left)

Other Museums containing documented Chippendale material include

Victoria and Albert Museum, London; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh; Manchester City Art Gallery; National Galleries of Scotland (Duff House)
(For links to these, see Navigation Bar at left)

Temple Newsam
For Viscount and Viscountess Irwin, 1774 - 1808.

Furniture was supplied by both Chippendale senior and junior to the ninth Viscount Irwin and his wife. Some pieces by the latter survive in the house. The museum is now the home of the Chippendale Society's own collection of furniture, documents and Chippendalia. The great Harewood library writing table and Lady's Secretaire are highlights of this leading decorative art museum.
